I will preface this by saying I was fully prepared to hate this episode, and wasn't even going to watch at first, because I was so convinced I was going to hate it.
I'm not sure I've ever been so happy to be wrong in my life, about anything. Because that was brilliant.
I cared about the deaths of people I didn't care about as characters at all. Like, really cared.
I cared about Bailey again for the first time in forever.
Sandra Oh crying always kills me, but her like, sobbing in the OR and still holding it together-I really, really need her to have an Emmy post haste.
I'm a total sucker for the Meredith/Cristina friendship anyway, so everything involving the two of them was brill to me.
Justin Chambers is pretty freaking ridiculously talented. And I loved the eat more bacon part, and also him asking Mark to try not to kill him. Oh, Alex.
And oh, Alex and Lexie. My beautiful, beautiful, completely beloved Alex and Lexie, I was not expecting any of that, and it brought me such joy, it's ridiculous. Oh, show.
