Eric is the big bad beautiful vampire in True Blood. In an interview I heard that SOmerhalder auditioned for True Blood and didn't get the part.
I don't think he would have fit in True Blood and love what he is doing with Damon. But still it makes you wonder.
The female lead in True Blood is a blond waitress named Sookie, who just happens to be psyhic. She sounds like a twit on paper, but she kicks ass. In of the first things that happens is that she sees two creeps going after Vampire Bill. They plan to bleed him dry and sell his blood. So she goes after them, picks up a chain off the back of a pick up and beats the crap out of them!!! The crap!
